Soap Making

£55.00 (Sold out)

Hand made soap is very different to commercial mass produced soap, it contains nourishing oils, natural scents, skin healthy botanicals and much more.  Soap making is an essential traditional skill that allows you to tailor make products for your own family based around their skincare needs.  Many people are intimidated by the techniques and the use of caustic soda but here you can learn how to safely make your own soap using centuries old traditional methods.

The courses are run by Sarah Harper the Founder of The Clovelly Soap Company and Author of The Natural and Handmade Soap Book.  Sarah has been making soap professionally since 2004 and brings her wealth of knowledge to the course as well as an easy and approachable style of teaching.

On our popular one day soap making course you will learn the basics of cold process soap making and take away 3 batches (approx. 24 bars) of your own luxury soap to use at home or give away as gifts.   The course covers the following and more...
